Some of Our Customers’ Beautiful Restorations
‘64 220SEb Coupe, Hugh in South Australia
Who knew this long-time owned, babied and driven 300SL was special,
unusual or even rare?
Not its owner unfortunately, but luckily enough he purchased this
amazing car at a young age, as a standard equipped 300SL with
no options, not even a radio, so he thought.
Every car restoration involves paint and body,
upholstery and trim and all mechanical items
to be restored to perfection.
What do the winners have or do that separates
them from the pack?
They have an expert to research the car's history,
authentication and preservation of all of it's details
from the build sheet to leaving the factory and
knowing it's complete history of ownership.
Every restoration also includes authentic
documentation, all owner's manuals and various
types of documentation, tools, related features and
brochures that would have come with the original sale.
All to complete a true history and facts about the car
being presented to the judges.
As seen below in the picture are all the comprehensive
documentation , tools, tool Kit, manuals, etc.
The was displayed to show this one of a kind 300SL
and it's very special history.
If you would like more info on this unique car,
please call me at he office 912-459-0380
and I would enjoy talking with you.
It has been my pleasure to work with the owner,
Dr. Lorenzo Triana III while making discoveries
and helping to chart a course to arrive at the
winner's circle to receive the
Phil Hill Best New Restoration award at The Amelia,
which was Dr. Triana's very first concurs, making
the day very special for all of us. And the story
continues, so watch for this special 300SL at other
Concours during the year ahead.
It was my pleasure working with the rest of the
team on the very special car and I want to
congratulate them also;
Steve and John at Steve Crowley Services,
know for their constantly exceptional show
winning body and paint work.
Will Samples at S&S Imports, well known for
300SL and 190SL mechanical expertise.
